A Little Bit About Synesthesia by Ashley Kormanik

I have synesthesia and, as I'm sure many of my friend's would say, never shut up about it. I think the perception of the world through the lens of synesthesia is incredibly fascinating and wanted to shine some light on how interesting it can be. I hope that whoever is watching might take a second to think about how they perceive things and how wonderful the smallest details and associations can be.

Happy Halloween (From Home) by Ashley Kormanik

While brainstorming for this project I thought about how Halloween in 2020 looked very different than other years with everyone inside. As I daydreamed about old spooks from years before I thought about how if there were witches or skeleton dogs or other scary creatures, they would be getting the night off for themselves. How would they spend it? I wanted to take something sad (being stuck inside during a usually fun and eventful day) and turn it into something fun and fantastical.

Monster Mash by Joymae Capps

Joymae Capps has never had a brush with the law, but they’re always peering over their shoulder to ensure that it stays that way. While they work primarily on digital media, they still find themselves experimenting with graphite, acrylics, charcoal, and ink. Art is by far the coolest curse they'd been stuck with.

The Great Jog by Jessy Nguyen and Crew

The Great Jog is a student film about two competitive neighbors, racing across the neighborhood in what started out as a normal jog. This film was part of a class final that put together everything we had learned in class prior to it, and with the help of every classmate, we all created a fun project.

Bassoon’s Night Out by Nicole Buetti

Ever wonder what musical instruments do when they aren’t being played? This footage was recovered by a bassoonist. Join the bassoons on their adventures around the world as they finally get to stretch their keys and take a break from the performing life.

Dreamt of U by Sydney Martinez

I wrote this song after a pretty, hefty breakup. I was devastated and broken to a point where I didn't know who I was. The night of the breakup, I had a dream about the relationship; it was almost like a flashback to the early stages of us. I woke up the next morning with a heavy heart, but an inspired one.

Dreams by Robert Coombs Jr.

I've always been a bit of a outsider/hermit when it comes to opening up to others with music. Maybe because I don't think other's will enjoy what I play to or I just compare myself to some of the greatest and feel I may not reach that level. Regardless music is one of the most powerful things in my life personally. There has never been an outlet or subject matter that has ever really hit me in the feels so to speak. Aside from watching E.T. or The Green Mile, haha. I've been a self taught guitarist since I was 14 and have always been curious what I "have" so to speak could be refined or trained to be something more than I could have ever imagined.
